Black Infant Health Program
The Black Infant Health Program provides service to American-born African-American women for the purpose of eliminating the disproportionate rate of African-American infant mortality in the Sacramento community. African-American women experience two-and-a-half times the rate of infant deaths than other racial and ethnic groups in our community.

The vision out-pictures nonprofit agencies and organizations working effectively and efficiently to serve the people of our communities. To realize this vision, the Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley’s mission is to create, support, and sustain grassroots groups that deliver much needed services in the areas of: Arts & Culture, Economic Development, Education, Health & Human Services, Social, Justice.
California Black Chamber Foundation
The California Black Chamber of Commerce is the largest African American non-profit business organization representing hundreds of small and emerging businesses, affiliates and chambers of commerce throughout the state. If you own a business, represent one, manage an association/organization, or you are a corporate leader the CBCC can provide advocacy assistance for your supplier diversity needs, and business development and training for your small business.
NAACP Sacramento Branch
Our on-going goals are to: Increase voter registration, high school graduation, and home ownership; decrease health disparities and high school drop outs; and continue to educate our community on issues that affect them. These goals can only be maintained with support from our community. By becoming a member and volunteering your services, or supporting the many events we have throughout the year, you help us maintain the operational needs of our branch.

The Black Group
The specific Purpose of The Black Group (tbg) is to increase human and material resources for people of African descent. The purpose of tbg is to conduct research on the principal concerns of African-descended peoples and to disseminate the results of that research by the widest possible means. TBG develops its research products and disseminates them in the widest forms, including but not limited to: articles, books, occasional papers, brochures, op. ed. pieces, videos, audiotapes, cds, email, websites, and spoken presentations.
